Big Event

Last night was my sister graduation party, and I was asked if I can be their photographer !
Oh, that's a GIANT step to me; because I never did any public photography or portraits.

At the beginning of the day I was so nervous, I felt like I won't do it well. But I kept telling my self that I can; as long as I did pretty good in still life I was %80 sure that I can do good in portraits.

So as the time passes by I was getting more excited and less nervous !
As we reached the ballroom my heart was beating so fast and my mind wasn't clear.. I mean, I had only the camera with me nothing more nothing less ! would they hesitate and think I'm not a pro *sure I'm not pro but I'm pretty good at it* or would they take their chances with me ?! I needed an answer to that question as soon as possible.

After about an hours the girls said we're ready :)
I knew earlier where to shoot, because I didn't want to use the internal flash and didn't had an external one. lighting was perfect, I used the 50mm f/1.4 *Thanks to my dearest friend Mashael* in Aperture Mode @ f/1.8 .

It took me about 2 hours, I was getting exhausted ! I mean come on, I'm wearing high heels and stressed out *because I don't know most of the people I'm photographing and I'm not a good talker, not yet* and wanting to make sure each photo is right !

After the last portrait, I took a very deep breath and sat down to relax and enjoy "what's left" of my juice. some girls came to see the photos and to tell me which to print small and which to print big.

At the end I was so happy to see them happy, their joy was the important thing and I was glad to have the chance to experience "portraits".

That was my first BIG EVENT !

and I really enjoyed it :) Every photographer must have this experience, whether it was good or not, at least give it a try and "freeze the humanistic beauty".

That's all folks ;)
